2023 In Person 1040 Taxes in Depth - Eugene/Springfield

Event Description

1040 Taxes in Depth - Eugene/Springfield

In Person Only

This will be an in person, socially distanced seminar.

What an unusual year!  The 1040 Manual this year has over 50 pages of new laws and court cases including the Secure Act 2.0, clarification of 2022's Inflation Reduction Act; the Corporate Transparency Act; clear guidance on disaster losses as a result of fires, floods, and storms of 2023; new IRS crypto-currency guidance, new estate & gift rules and IRS opening attacks on the Employee Retention Credit frauds will require six hours on our part just to cover the new stuff.

We have added a whole new day one afternoon session on tax planning for individuals to go with our "1040 hot topics" normal review.

On Day two we provide the newly updated engagement letter, fee schedules and new 1040 preparer and review checklists, interview forms and 1040 checksheets.

The 1040 manual is your 1,000 electronic desktop reference guide that for nearly 10 straight years has been voted by Tax Professionals in the independent review as THE ONLY CPE MANUAL to be awarded a Top Research Award.

Participants also receive practical guidance, dozens of checklists, worksheets, and client letters, plus "What's New" informaiton.  If you are choosing an in-person seminar, your fee includes a hyperlinked PDF of the manual, four-page laminated desktop reference "Fingertip Facts," and a free 2-hour self study ethics course.
