About OAIA

The Oregon Association of Independent Accountants first met in 1946 as the "Oregon Association of Public Accountants". We updated the name in January 1991 to reflect a broader scope of professional expertise and the diversity of the financial services offered by the organization's membership. OAIA today includes accounting and tax professionals in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

Meeting Information

Virtual and in-person OAIA Chapter meetings are structured to inspire, engage, and educate members. We discuss industry news and trends, best practices, changes to tax laws, and much more. Members are encouraged to both ask for help for business challenges they are facing, and to offer solutions when possible. Collaboration between members brings added value to clients by fully leveraging the brain trust, expertise, creativity and resources within each chapter and throughout the organization. Board meetings are held 5-6 times per year; members are welcome to attend.
