This course will cover IRS Notice 2021-49 and Rev. Proc. 2021-33 which clarify the latest rules under the American Rescue Plan and 2021, as well as answering lingering questions regarding the calculation, which owners/spouses/employees are eligible, and how to calculate gross receipts.  This course covers the latest guidance through 2022.

At the conclusion of this class the attendee will be able to determine which employees are eligible to take the Employee Retention Credit based upon the Governmental Restriction and Decline in Gross Receipts tests; which wages are eligible for the credit based upon employer size, relationships to owners, and amounts, and how to compute the applicable credit.
